Join us on November 28 from 18:30 to 21:00 for a workshop on "Privacy-Aware Machine Learning and Data Science" in Amsterdam. Be sure to bring your laptop along β this is an interactive workshop! π (If you don't have a laptop available you can partner up with another attendee).
The privacy of personal data is something we might take for granted when working with data. Sure, you probably wouldn't worry if your favourite flavour of ice cream was exposed for anyone to discover. But what about your
health, income, political views, religion, or sexual preferences? Whenever you're working with data it's important to use it carefully. Doing so not only reduces the
risks of information being used in the wrong way, or by the wrong people β it also increases your users' trust in your products.
At this Meetup, expert and author
Katharine Jarmul will lead us in a workshop all about how to manage privacy in data science and machine learning projects. We'll learn how to
apply core privacy principles and techniques to the data science and machine learning workflows. We'll also look at
how to experiment with Python open source libraries to ensure privacy-preservation in machine learning.
We'll round off an evening of learning with networking drinks, where Katharine will be Β around to answer any questions you have about data privacy.
